Not only is The Lynhall one of my favorite Uptown neighborhood spots for brunch and high tea, by night it turns into a magical event space! It offers a setting that is as unique as your love story. The designers have done an amazing job of creating a space that is as inviting as  your grandmother’s dining room, but still modern and cool. The Lynhall is the perfect spot for an intimate wedding in the heart of Minneapolis. The vibes are on point.

While Callie’s mom helped her get ready, she reminisced about her own wedding day. Her mom also had chosen to have an intimate wedding in the twin cities. What was truly amazing was when they found out they had both used the same florist, who had gone by a different name at the time. As Callie put her jewelry on, they talked about how each piece came from different women in their family. On special occasions they all shared jewelry, holding each other close.

Before heading to the venue, Callie and John decided to do a first look in front of the Minneapolis skyline. We couldn’t have asked for a better day! There were tears shed, laughs booming from the rooftop, and embraces I could feel 20 feet away. After that they decided to do a first look with the whole wedding party, no one could contain their excitement. We even heard people yelling from other apartment buildings about how good they looked!

It was a casual affair, doing away with all the stress of planning  a huge wedding. When guests arrived, the bar was already set so everyone could mingle beforehand with a drink in their hand. A few friends came early to set the tables with bud vases and greenery. The effect was perfect for the space! With just a handful of florals, the room was transformed into an elegant but simple wedding venue. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Callie and John exchanged vows and started the next chapter of their life. But only after they played Rock, Paper, Scissors to decide who went first.
